ISO 37101:2016 établit les exigences d'un système de management pour le développement durable au sein des communautés territoriales, y compris les villes, basées sur une approche holistique, en cohérence avec la politique de développement durable des communautés territoriales.

NOTE 1 Au cours du dernier siècle, les villes sont devenues des acteurs essentiels du développement durable au niveau local, national et international en raison des pressions d'une urbanisation sans précédent.

Les résultats escomptés d'un système de management pour le développement durable au sein des communautés territoriales comprennent:

- le management du développement durable et l'encouragement de l'intelligence et de la résilience des communautés territoriales, en tenant compte des frontières territoriales auxquelles elles s'appliquent;

- l'amélioration de la contribution des communautés territoriales aux résultats du développement durable;

- l'évaluation de la performance des communautés territoriales dans leurs progrès en matière de développement durable ainsi que le niveau d'intelligence et de résilience qu'elles ont atteint;

- la détermination des obligations de conformité.

NOTE 2 L'intelligence et la résilience sont intégrées dans le processus de développement durable: le développement durable est le processus global, tandis que l'intelligence et la résilience en sont des caractéristiques.

ISO 37101:2016 est destinée à aider les communautés territoriales à devenir plus résilientes, intelligentes et durables, par la mise en ?uvre de stratégies, de programmes, de projets, de plans et de services, et à démontrer et communiquer leurs réalisations.

ISO 37101:2016 est destinée à être mise en ?uvre par un organisme désigné par une communauté territoriale pour établir le cadre organisationnel et fournir les ressources nécessaires au soutien du management des résultats de performance environnementale, économique et sociale. Une communauté territoriale qui choisit d'établir ce cadre organisationnel par ses propres moyens est dès lors considérée comme l'organisme tel que défini dans la présente Norme internationale.

ISO 37101:2016 s'applique à des communautés territoriales de toutes tailles, de toutes structures et de tous types, dans les pays développés ou en développement, au niveau local, régional ou national, et dans des zones urbaines ou rurales définies, à leur niveau de responsabilité respectif.

ISO 37101:2016 peut être utilisée dans son intégralité ou en partie pour améliorer le management du développement durable au sein des communautés territoriales. Les déclarations de conformité à la présente Norme internationale ne sont cependant pas acceptables à moins que toutes ses exigences soient intégrées dans le système de management pour le développement durable au sein des communautés territoriales d'un organisme et soient satisfaites, sans exclusion.



ISO 37101:2016 establishes requirements for a management system for sustainable development in communities, including cities, using a holistic approach, with a view to ensuring consistency with the sustainable development policy of communities.

The intended outcomes of a management system for sustainable development in communities include:

· managing sustainability and fostering smartness and resilience in communities, while taking into account the territorial boundaries to which it applies;

· improving the contribution of communities to sustainable development outcomes;

· assessing the performance of communities in progressing towards sustainable development outcomes and the level of smartness and of resilience that they have achieved;

· fulfilling compliance obligations.

ISO 37101:2016 is intended to help communities become more resilient, smart and sustainable, through the implementation of strategies, programmes, projects, plans and services, and demonstrate and communicate their achievements.

ISO 37101:2016 is intended to be implemented by an organization designated by a community to establish the organizational framework and to provide the resources necessary to support the management of environmental, economic and social performance outcomes. A community that chooses to establish the organizational framework by itself is considered to constitute an organization as defined in ISO 37101:2016.

ISO 37101:2016 is applicable to communities of all sizes, structures and types, in developed or developing countries, at local, regional or national levels, and in defined urban or rural areas, at their respective level of responsibility.

ISO 37101:2016 can be used in whole or in part to improve the management of sustainable development in communities. Claims of conformity to ISO 37101:2016, however, are not acceptable unless all its requirements are incorporated into an organization's management system for sustainable development in communities and fulfilled without exclusion.

The AENOR standards and books that appear in the online store can only be purchased exclusively through the website. AENOR does not have a physical store.

Purchase procedure: by clicking on "Buy" the desired products will go to the shopping cart. If there are display problems, the recommended browser is Chrome.

To formalize the purchase you must access the customer area. If you are not registered as a customer, you must fill in a form with the data along with a password and username. This will create the account.

Once the "Customer data" form has been completed, "Order in progress" will be displayed with all the items loaded in the shopping cart, their prices, taxes established in current legislation and shipping costs if applicable.

The prices of the standards and books that appear in the various sections do not include taxes or shipping costs.

AENOR promotional codes consist of alphanumeric characters and can only be applied to online purchases, received through a specific offer and for a limited time. To apply your promotional code, you just have to enter it in step 2 of 4 of the purchase process on the website and click on "apply", after you have identified yourself and chosen the payment methods. Promo codes are not cumulative.

In the case of clients of companies based abroad, the taxpayer identification number of the corresponding country (for example, in Argentina the CUIT), must be filled in the CIF/NIF - VAT field .

  • Direct download via the website in the Customer Area. In the customer area, which can only be accessed with a password and username, the products purchased will be available for a period of fifteen days from the date of purchase, as long as the payment has been accepted. Files in digital format are protected and in no case editable. Before purchasing them, it is important that the license of use is read and accepted as a prior step to purchase.
  • Shipping by courier. Products purchased on physical media are shipped by courier. The maximum delivery time in Spanish territory, from the acceptance of the order by AENOR, is:
  •  Approximately seven working days for all standards purchased through the store in paper format.
  • Approximately three days for books purchased through the store. Stocks of paper books are limited and their offer on the website does not imply availability within the indicated period. In the event that the requested book is not available, the customer is notified of the delay in receiving the order, which will be approximately seven working days.

1. For digital products (PDF, Epub), once delivery has been made by direct download via the website in the Customer Area, you will not have the right to exercise your right of withdrawal.

2. For personalised products on paper, once the purchase has been made, you will not have the right to exercise your right of withdrawal.

3.  For all other paper products, you have the right to withdraw from the sale within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase. Remember that for the return it is essential that the product is in perfect condition, sealed by the packaging and preserving its original packaging. The customer will be responsible for pickup and shipping costs.

The order invoice includes shipping costs, so there is no amount to pay to the courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on both the final destination of the order and the number of products ordered. They include transport and packaging costs. Shipping costs are subject to periodic revisions. Outlet books will have free shipping costs only if the shipment is made in the Peninsula.
