| Summary: | EN 746-2 as part of EN 746 series specifies the safety requirements for combustion and fuel handling systems (Gas and Oil) that are part of industrial furnaces and associated processing equipment (TPE). The general safety requirements common to TPE are provided in EN 746-1. It can be used for fuel handling systems in the immediate surrounding of the plant, starting in the direction of flow with the manually operated main fuel shut-off valve of the plant. EN 746-2 deals with significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to combustion and fuel handling systems, when used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer. |
