| Summary: | This document applies to the installation of X-ray equipment for medical use with nominal voltages up to 300 kV. All modifications to existing X-ray systems relating to structural radiation protection are also subject to this standard. In particular, it applies to the design of structural radiation protection measures within the scope of site-specific radiation protection for persons who are in the X-ray room or in adjacent areas during operation of the X-ray facility. |
