Summary: This document specifies the additional requirements to EN 81 20:2020 for new passenger and goods passenger lifts, which can be used to support faster evacuation of persons with disabilities, including in case of fire alarm. This document does not apply to: - lifts for evacuation due to circumstances which introduce other hazards such as explosion threat, chemical or biological attack, flooding, storm damage, or earthquake. In these cases, this document can be used as a basis with further measures as required from risk assessment; - the provision of evacuation aids to assist when the evacuation lift is unavailable. The significant hazards covered by this document are listed in Annex D. The following significant hazards are out of the scope of this document: - fire or smoke in the evacuation lift well, safe areas or machinery spaces; - ingress of water to the lift well during evacuation process; - insufficient or incorrectly located evacuation lifts; - insufficient evacuation capacity; - inability of users to understand the use of the lift in evacuation; - entrapment in waiting area (safe area) due to absence of lift service or adjacent stairs; - structural collapse or failure of building services (including public supply network, lighting, ventilation) before the evacuation using lifts has been completed; - presence of harmful gases, potentially explosive atmosphere, extreme climate conditions, transport of dangerous goods; - unavailability of the evacuation lift. This document is not applicable to evacuation lifts manufactured before the date of its publication.

Le présent document spécifie des exigences supplémentaires à l'EN 81 20:2020 pour les ascenseurs et ascenseurs de charge, qui peuvent être utilisés pour faciliter une évacuation plus rapide des personnes en situation de handicap, y compris en cas d'alarme incendie. Le présent document ne s'applique pas : - aux ascenseurs destinés à l'évacuation dans des conditions qui entraînent d'autres phénomènes dangereux, tels qu'un risque d'explosion, une attaque chimique ou biologique, une inondation, des dégâts causés par une tempête ou un tremblement de terre. Les phénomènes dangereux significatifs suivants ne relèvent pas du domaine d'application du présent document : - détection d'incendie ou de fumée dans la gaine de l’ascenseur d'évacuation, les espaces sécurisés et les emplacements de machinerie ; - pénétration d'eau dans la gaine de l'ascenseur au cours du processus d'évacuation ; - ascenseurs d'évacuation insuffisants ou incorrectement situés ; - capacité d'évacuation insuffisante ; - incapacité des utilisateurs à comprendre l'utilisation de l'ascenseur en cas d'évacuation ; - emprisonnement dans une aire d'attente (espace sécurisé) dû à l'absence de service d'ascenseur ou escaliers adjacents ; - effondrement de structure ou défaillance des services du bâtiment (par exemple : réseau électrique public, éclairage, ventilation) avant que l'évacuation par ascenseurs n'ait été terminée ; - présence de gaz nocifs, atmosphère potentiellement explosible, conditions climatiques extrêmes, transport de marchandises dangereuses ; - indisponibilité de l'ascenseur d'évacuation. Le présent document ne s'applique pas aux ascenseurs d'évacuation fabriqués avant sa date de publication.

Dieses Dokument legt die gegenüber EN 81 20:2020 zusätzlichen Anforderungen für neue Personen- und Lastenaufzüge fest, die zur Unterstützung der schnelleren Evakuierung von Personen mit Behinderungen genutzt werden können, unter anderem bei einem Feueralarm. Dieses Dokument ist nicht anwendbar für:  Aufzüge zur Evakuierung aufgrund von Umständen, die andere Gefährdungen mit sich bringen, wie z. B. Explosionen, Angriffe mit chemischen oder biologischen Waffen, Überschwemmungen, Sturmschäden oder Erdbeben. In diesen Fällen kann dieses Dokument als Grundlage für weitere Maßnahmen verwendet werden, die sich aus der Risikobeurteilung ergeben;  die Bereitstellung von Evakuierungshilfen für den Fall, dass der Evakuierungsaufzug nicht zur Verfügung steht. Die signifikanten von diesem Dokument erfassten Gefährdungen sind in Anhang D aufgeführt. Die folgenden signifikanten Gefährdungen liegen außerhalb des Anwendungsbereichs dieses Dokuments:  Feuer und Rauch im Schacht des Evakuierungsaufzugs, in den sicheren Bereichen und an den Aufstellungsorten von Triebwerk und Steuerung;  Eindringen von Wasser in den Aufzugschacht während des Evakuierungsprozesses;  unzureichende oder falsch angeordnete Evakuierungsaufzüge;  unzureichende Evakuierungskapazität;  Unfähigkeit der Benutzer, die Verwendung des Aufzugs bei einer Evakuierung zu verstehen;  Eingeschlossensein im Wartebereich (sicheren Bereich) aufgrund von nicht verfügbarem Aufzugsbetrieb oder fehlenden angrenzende Treppen;  Einsturz des Bauwerks oder Ausfall der Gebäudesysteme (einschließlich öffentlichem Versorgungsnetz, Beleuchtung, Belüftung) vor Abschluss der Evakuierung über Aufzüge;  Vorhandensein gefährlicher Gase, einer potenziell explosionsgefährdeten Atmosphäre, extremer klimatischer Bedingungen, Beförderung von gefährlichen Gütern;  Nichtverfügbarkeit des Evakuierungsaufzugs. Dieses Dokument ist nicht anwendbar für Evakuierungsaufzüge, die vor dessen Veröffentlichung hergestellt worden sind.

AENOR promotional codes consist of alphanumeric characters and can only be applied to online purchases, received through a specific offer and for a limited time.   • Approximately three days for books purchased through the store. Stocks of paper books are limited and their offer on the website does not imply availability within the indicated period. 3.  For all other paper products, you have the right to withdraw from the sale within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase. Remember that for the return it is essential that the product is in perfect condition, sealed by the packaging and preserving its original packaging. The customer will be responsible for pickup and shipping costs.

The order invoice includes shipping costs, so there is no amount to pay to the courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on both the final destination of the order and the number of products ordered.
