| Resumen: | This document specifies the testing of components made of copper alloys, especially copper-zinc-alloys, in wet ammonia vapour to determine stress conditions which can lead to stress corrosion cracking. In addition this method can be used for - comparison of the stress corrosion cracking susceptibility of different copper alloys in components and - to test the protective effect of any existing coatings or other measures to protect vulnerable components against stress corrosion cracking. |
