| Resumen: | This document applies to requirements and tests of gas excess flow valves for the operating pressure range from 25 hPa to 0.5 MPa up to a nominal diameter of DN 50 with defined flow direction, which are used in contact with gases of the second and third gas family as classified in DVGW Code of Practice G 260 (but not for liquid gas in the liquid phase). This document is based on Technical Test Specification G 5305-2:2013-10 "Excess flow valves for house connection pipes". It regulates, in accordance with the specifications of DVGW Code of Practice G 459-1 (A) "Gas main connections for maximum operating pressures up to and including 5 bar", the requirements and tests for GS of types A (25 hPa to 100 hPa), types B (100 hPa to 0,5 MPa), types C (25 hPa to 0,5 MPa) and types D (25 hPa to 0,1 MPa). The maximum pressure loss of GS types A, C, D is limited to 2,5 hPa. The maximum pressure loss of type B is limited to 15 hPa. |
