Resumen:

This part of DIN EN 60749 covers the I-test and the overvoltage latch-up testing of integrated circuits. This test is classified as destructive. This test method is primarily applicable to CMOS devices. Applicability to other technologies must be established.

In diesem Teil der DIN EN 60749 sind für integrierte Schaltungen sowohl die I-Prüfbeanspruchung als auch die Überspannungs-Latch-up-Prüfbeanspruchung beschrieben. Das Prüfverfahren ist zerstörend. Es ist zunächst für Bauelemente in CMOS-Technologie anwendbar. Die Anwendbarkeit auf andere Technologien ist gesondert festzulegen.
